Headstart is a free, federally sunded program designed to promote school readiness for 3 and 4 year olds that meet income requirements. Families receive free high-quality, comprehensive childhood services. The program encourages family involvement through regular visits to the child's home and provide opportunities for families to volunteer in the program and participate in special activities to support their child's learning.
Child Protective Services (CPS) are provided through the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) to identify, treat and prevent child abuse and neglect.
